Jim has spent the last 30 years as a senior information assurance professional developing effective security programs that operate in concert with, and not against, organizational goals. The last 10 years were spent as the CISO at ManTech, a large defense contractor, building an information assurance program from the ground up. Gained consensus with business leaders to implement controls/services to manage risk and protect critical information assets.
Jim worked closely with the Nation Defense Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ND-ISAC) to share threat information and work to improve the security posture of the entire Defense Industrial Base (DIB). Jim also served as the company representative on the DoD DIB Cyber Security Task Force to help improve DoD and industry cooperation.
