Deb Radcliff is a respected cybersecurity analyst and author of the Breaking Backbones Hacker Trilogy, a fictional series about an evil corporation taking over the world through tech and hackers rising up against it. She has based many of her characters on hackers, cybercops, and vigilantes she met during her groundbreaking career as an early-days cybercrime reporter. She’s won several awards for her articles, spoken at West Point, and she also stood up an Analyst Program for the SANS Institute, which she ran for 15 years. Now, as an independent analyst and ‘disruptive’ cybersecurity thought leader, she is a regular contributor to CSO Online and runs the Shift Left Academy focused around DevSecOps.
